We went recently six weeks ago [because I was playing with alternate video hosting services] to an indoor playground which is a convenient way to let the kids enjoy their time while it’s (very) hot outside. Their mother can indulge in shopping while I both read my Kindle and watch the kids. Since the city of Hà Nội began again locking some buildings due to the spreading virus, it has had a chilling effect on the attendance in this mall. We went there 3 times already and I never saw more than 5 other kids each time… sometimes only 1. Now since one week ago the playgrounds are closed… and everybody is crossing fingers they will reopen soon!
I appreciated the openness of the policy: venues were open and people were still free to come around. However since the sharp drop in traffic, some shops had preferred to close anyhow:
I promise I’ll try to get the next videos to work in less than six weeks.
By the way, these two videos are hosted directly on the webserver, can you please tell me in the comments if they work fine from France or Switzerland?
Yes the videos work!
Is it safe to leave the kids and walk away? Or do you need one parent there?
Well my daughter is too small to be left unattended. But when they are 7+ you can leave them and continue shopping (me, shopping? no, I prefer to stay calm with a book). As a security precaution when walking over there you should always have crisps and fruit juice with you to deter lurking, hungry kids, that would otherwise feast on your flesh.
Ahaha! They are that excited about seeing your return then!
