Yesterday I went for a medical checkup which is mandatory for further paperwork. My wife booked a slot at the spacious and luxurious Vinmec Clinic in Hà Nội. The whole checkup cost 2’800’000.-VND (around 111.-CHF).
The day before the appointment, an online questionnaire must be filled in with information about any risk of contact with covid. Then, we download a QR code that must be shown upon arrival. The clinic is equipped with thermal scanners but they did not seem to use it at the time I checked in.
Checkup
I felt like a VIP because a medical secretary, fluent in French, walked me through the corridors and shared her insights after 20 years in the medical field in Hà Nội. I can say that the checkup was thorough: blood testing, body measurement (blood pressure, height, weight etc), dentistry, surgery, dermatology, thorax radiology, ophthalmology, urology, and a general practitioner. I know more about my body than I thought was possible. I also feel, after all these questionnaires and examinations, that my health is very good!
Life felt simple and easy : men in blue, women in rose.
Hôpital Français de Hanoï?
I’ve heard that the French hospital in Hà Nội bills 1.5 or double to foreigners. However I have not verified this information. In Vinmec, same price for all.
En bonne santé vous deux, je n’en doutais pas, mais le tout est d’échapper à des bilans plus intrusifs… Bonne nuit bises à tous papa
Oui tant mieux si ça suffit comme ça ! 😀
