Creativity of Spammers…

Or lack thereof? Well sorry I am starting on the wrong foot. It’s time to show some gratitude. Thanks to spammers, I’ve had quite a richer life and bigger dreams than I could ever have imagined. I have…

  • been the potential (unfortunately not actual) recipient many times of millions and millions of dollars, not by worthiness but mere luck, because Nigerian heirs are nowhere to be found and attorneys are doing their best to locate the next best person with the help of their weird-looking email addresses.
  • been given opportunities to meet thousands of ladies: from all continents and ages. All the variety of the universe has been in my Gmail spam folder, and it is very wise that in Mountain View they decided to purge all spam older than one month.
  • seen unknown friends caring for my health, sending me the best advices and health supplements for enhancing bodily performance of all sorts (yes, this is obvious and I won’t write it).
  • been informed that friends, who had lost their phones and identity card, were actually able to log into their webmails and ask for money urgently
  • received tonight a brand new email which shows that spammers’ imagination never sleeps although the quality is still the same: the coronavirus enters the scene!

Team work is key: “Annick” lends her email address to “Victor” so that he can email me a file which looks like he just wrote a letter to himself.

What were they thinking?

Hopefully Gmail does a good job. One month lifetime for such spam is very generous.
